Document-Based App
"Roadmap for macOS" is a document-based app, so users have full control over how files are stored and shared.
-
Ownership. Roadmap documents are stored as .rdmap files on your Mac at your discretion. You fully own the data you create.
-
Data Security. We (the Swift Apps Group) do not store roadmap documents created by the users on our servers.
-
Responsibility. You decide how to store and backup the files and share the files across devices and team members.
Welcome Window
Launch the Roadmap app and you will see the welcome window. From there, you can open recently accessed roadmap files, browse for a .rdmap file on your Mac, or create a new roadmap by clicking the "+" tile.

Roadmap Chart
Roadmap tasks are organized in sections and rows.
-
A task cannot overlap another task. That is why Roadmap is usually used for product roadmaps and high-level project plans. For detailed project scheduling, we provide QuickPlan.
-
Section Lane display style is customizable (Right-click on a section lane to customize the section lane display style).
-
The app provides gestures and context menus for maintaining sections and rows.
Press ⌘⌥^ (Command + Alt + Ctrl) to show shortcut tips in the active roadmap window.
